More than 500 years ago, the cross was planted on the coast of Florida by Spanish missionaries. Follow their path during this year's Easter Week. The pilgrims leave Sanford, FL on Easter Tuesday, April 6, and via walking and canoeing, and traversing land, swamp, and ocean, will make their way to the Mission Nombre de Dios at St. Augustine. The procession will arrive in St. Augustine and proceed north on St. George Street at 10 a.m. and end at the Mission Nombre de Dios at St. Augustine for Sunday Mass at 11 a.m. For more information, visit St. Thomas More Church.
